Venetian Window Blinds by Blindology Blinds of Plymouth - venetian window blinds made to measure.
Venetian Blinds Plymouth made to measure window blinds.
Please see the above pictures for some examples of previous installations.
Venetian blinds are available as wood/wooden venetian blinds or metal/aluminium (ali) venetian blinds.
All of our aluminium venetian blinds are available in a huge array of finishes ranging from aluminium colours from white to mirror effect, our wood venetian blinds are available in various finishes ranging from white throught to gloss black. They are available in differing slat size widths from 25mm, 35mm and 50mm, though this is dependant on some of the colours and finishes as they can be available in either 1 or 2 if not all 3 of the slat sizes. There also a couple that are available as a 16mm slat size (micro) though these are not available as wooden venetians.
The venetian blinds that we supply and install are ideal for the home, office or commercial properties.
Our wood venetian blinds are available in 35mm and 50mm slat sizes, though some are only available in 50mm.
Venetain blinds are a very good way to obtain privacy and shading due to the way that they operate, you can twist the slats so that they let more or less light in or you can even raise them fully. The only real problem with venetian blinds are they are so hard to keep clean, as due to be horizontal, they gather dust and dirt. There is no real good or easy way to keep them clean though we do recommend a good ostrich feather duster. The tools that say "keep your venetian blinds gleaming" are not the best as they dont really do the job!
We would not recommend installing wood venetian blinds into kitchens or bathrooms, this is mainly due to the fact of the moisture in the air and that fact that over time it CAN warp the slats, this is not due to the quality of the wooden venetian blinds, this is down to the fact that they are not treated like decking, so over time the moisture can warp you blind, other companies will not say this, as by the time that your blind may become faulty, it would no doubt be out of any guarantee!!!!! BUT WE PREFER TO BE HONEST AND UPFRONT with our customers, rather than to get a so called sale and then you find out in 18 months time.
We can also install these venetian blinds onto doors or tilt and turn windows by using special hold down brackets. Though with wooden venetian blinds this may not be possible due to the handle on your doors or windows, in which case we would recommend our aluminium venetian blinds.
We can also carry out repairs to your venetian blinds, the most common problem that we seem to repair are the cords, these can wear away over time, though you need not always need to buy a new blind, as we can record (replace the cord on the venetian blind) all we would need to do is too colour match the cord as close as we can, then we can work out the amount of cord required. Though this can be a time consuming job to complete. If your cord has snapped or broken on your venetian blind, don't pull the cord, just leave it as it is and call Blindology Blinds of Plymouth, we can then visit you and repair your window blind with as little fuss a possible.
